For the past 7 years I've had visions of a little red demon with a big crush on the angel next door. It started out as a doodle I drew one day in church and just grew from there. In school I would create additional characters to accompany my little devil; before long I had a random assortment of sketches for this concept. Eventually, I decided I would call this creation Lil' Paco, and finally, at the end of 2010, I decided to turn this idea into an independent animated series.

Being a freelance cartoonist who had worked for various publications over the years, I had some experience in the industry - but nothing could prepare me for the challenges that come with fleshing out a real cartoon. I had so many characters to introduce, but not a lot of time or money to fully take advantage of the ideas in my head. A lot of characters had to take the back seat to jokes, and vice versa - I think the end result is a success. A nice balance between story and humor. And I want to do more!

But that's not entirely up to me. It takes a village to raise a kid, and a project as ambitious as Lil' Paco can't rely on me alone forever. If you like Lil' Paco, share it with your friends! As of right now, this is an independent passion project; some day it will be something much bigger than that. Throw caution to the wind, and join the party!

I'm kicking off Lil' Paco's debut on Newgrounds with a collection of teasers. At the end of November, the first episode will be released. It's literally been years in the making, but I don't regret a second of it. I hope you all enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed creating it :)
